The shop is quiet but that's because most people have the food here as a takeaway The jerk chicken and curry goat is great! Get it with the fried plantain and coleslaw

I’ve just ordered from here via Uber eats. Jerk chicken - perfection ! Rice and peas - perfection ! Brown stew - not great, it wasn’t very tasty and it tasted old. I ordered quite early in the day and I think it might be from yesterday Plantain - perfection Mac and cheese - not very tasty, would be nice with some scotch bonnet or pepper. Even though the brown stew wasn’t nice and I didn’t eat it, I’m still giving 5 stars because the jerk chicken and rice and peas was that GOOD! I also ordered salt fish fritter too but they gave me patty instead. Uber eats gave me a refund for it so no biggie.

Food tasted fresh, rice and peas was flavourful, curry goat was nice. The jerk chicken was a little on the small size. Ordered a large but the large was more just over average. When I did a takeaway the large was large. But this delivery the large was regular. Overall I was disappointed because the food tasted so good but there wasn’t enough. And that’s the only reason I cannot give a 5 star. The staff in the store are really nice and I will definitely be ordering again. My new favourite Caribbean food place.

The food is tasty and always clean, which I appreciate as a regular customer. However, I feel that customer service could be improved. There is little to no warm interaction, and it often feels quite transactional. Acknowledging regular customers and creating a more welcoming atmosphere would make a big difference. There’s another Caribbean restaurant just around the corner—while the food isn’t as good, their customer service is much friendlier. If the service here matched the quality of the food, it would truly stand out.

This review is pretty hard because the food was nice but I was not wowed! The oxtail was not as soft as I like, the plantain was not sweet and the mac and cheese was not cheesy enough. I ordered a oxtail and jerk mix I got one thigh cut in half and 1/2 full large spoonful of oxtail. I was so happy they had a option to have two dishes in one meal!!!!! Based on what iv said I come to the conclusion that this food is just based off preference and it must be nice as I ate it all looool I also got a free salad and supermalt was only 1 pound!!!!! BTW the pictures I showed was me having half of the meal I received. So good portion really! (Ordered on just eat) Thank you for my meal ⭐

Went there because it was on the meerkat website. The lady said they are not doing the promotion. Either way the prices are reasonable even without discount. Ordered the platter and fried plantain. Even though everything is precooked and reheated, I chose to reheat it at home to enjoy it. The curried goat had many bones but it is what made it tasty. The right amount of spice. The jerk chicken wings had a barbecue taste to them, very very good. The coleslaw was very nice, how I would make it at home. Overall I would go back and support local businesses. The food is very addictive and filling.

Food is good, cake is nice, but for the price it could be bigger. Overall food portion are healthy though. Swings and roundabouts. Worth a visit. I had the oxtail stew, rich gravy with tender pieces of meat. Flavours are plenty. Try to avoid the school lunch breaks, it’s like standing in a school in Walthamstow..
